Why I made this

A personal vendetta of mine

Hola, I am Aleks. 👋

I love clipping funny moments from playing games with my friends. I hate having to pay to send them over discord. I also hate having to upload them to a compressor online. Online compressors have restrictions, are slow and I dont even know where my video is uploaded to.

I dont love sending my clips off somewhere else just to make them smaller. So I built the little tool I actually wanted. bitsmol is a little utility that uses your PC's power to compress videos with no limits. And you can have it for free. No strings attached. No silly accounts or monthly subscriptions.

It is tiny, it is simple and it just makes things fit. I hope it saves you the same headache it saved me.
